When it came time to choose a career, Dr. Shah was certain of one thing: he wanted to do something different every day. Dentistry ended up being a perfect fit because of all of the different specialties and services as well as the opportunity to interact with and care for people every day. He’s been a dentist for more than a decade now, and he is just as passionate about helping patients in his community with everything from routine checkups to smile-transforming dental implants.
Prior to becoming a dentist near South Plainfield, Dr. Shah obtained his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. Then, he went on to study at New York University, which is where he earned his dental doctorate. Ever since, he’s used his time outside the office to pursue continuing education. In fact, he has completed more than 1,000 hours of advanced training on dental implants! Plus, he continues to maintain active memberships with the American Dental Association as well as other professional organizations.
Of course, Dr. Shah’s favorite thing to do outside the office is spend time with his wife, Tejal, and their two young children. When he does have free time, he also enjoys working out, playing Texas Hold ‘Em with his friends, and cooking.
